Direct Collection, Close to the Farmers
At Laroue, wool comes to life from the moment it is collected. Our trucks travel across France to collect wool directly from farmers, ensuring exemplary traceability. Every year, 1,200 tonnes of exclusively French wool are brought to our site in Mazamet by our own fleet.
Wool Selected According to Its Use

We work primarily with merino wool from Provence, renowned for its fineness and its quality suited to garment manufacturing.
We also make the most of Texel wool from central France, offering exceptional loft for bedding applications.
A Responsible Industry Rooted in Mazamet
This direct collection model allows us to work closely with farmers, advising them on best practices — namely avoiding straw contamination, minimising paint marks on fleeces, and separating black wool and lamb’s wool.
